SJ Roberts Construction Ltd was the original company in what is now the SJR Group. The group incorporates Lowfield Timber Frames Ltd and home builder Wyro Developments Ltd – both as successful as SJ Roberts Construction in their fields. The group enjoys an annual turnover in excess of £15million.

All of the companies are based in purpose-built headquarters at Marton, near Welshpool, on the Shropshire and Mid Wales border. SJ Roberts Construction was founded more than 25 years ago by Stephen Roberts, who is now Chairman of the group and still a very much hands-on leader.
