SJ Roberts Construction Shortlisted for Shropshire Star Excellence in Business Awards 2017

SJ Roberts Construction Ltd are delighted to be shortlisted for the Apprentice Employer Award at the Shropshire Star Excellence in Business Awards 2017.

Shropshire based building contractor SJ Roberts have been working with apprentices in the construction industry for a number of years, having trained over 50 apprentices, within their supply chain, since the company was founded 30 years ago.

Construction Industry Apprenticeship Schemes 

Construction Industry Apprenticeship Schemes are becoming increasingly popular, providing on the job experience, a structured learning programme as well as providing an income.

SJ Roberts offer a range of apprenticeships for traditional industry roles including Bricklayers, Carpenters and Electricians, with further demand for Civil Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and Site Managers.

SJ Roberts Construction was founded over 35 years ago by Chairman Steve Roberts. A prominent construction company in Shropshire and Mid Wales, SJ Roberts Construction has been building in the local area for over 25 years.

The SJ Roberts Group also includes the SJ Roberts Homes division which was launched in 2016 and is currently working on developments in Shrewsbury and Whitchurch and Lowfield Timber Frames who design, manufacture and erect timber frames all over the UK.
