Fire at headquarters of SJ Roberts group

You may be aware that the site of our headquarters near Welshpool has suffered a fire, and we’d like to thank all our contacts who have been in touch to express their concern.
 
The fire is now out, and thankfully no-one was hurt. We anticipate the Fire Service handing the building back to us later today at which point we’ll assess the damage more fully, but importantly, we are continuing to operate all our sites and don’t anticipate any disruption to progress.

Mike Sambrook, MD at SJ Roberts Construction, said: “As reported, a fire has occurred at the headquarters of the SJ Roberts group of companies.  The fire is now out, and we anticipate the Fire Service handing the building back to us later today (Thursday March 7).  At that point we will have a clearer picture of the full extent of the damage however, we are continuing to operate and all sites will be running as normal with no disruption to progress.  Thankfully, no one was hurt in the fire and our thanks must go to all those in the Fire Service who tackled the blaze and a special thanks to the local community who turned out in numbers to offer help and assistance.”
