Apprentice Carpenter Jenson Evans recognised for hard work and dedication with Milwaukee twin drill set

Jenson has been acknowledged for his commitment and diligent efforts during his apprenticeship with a gesture of appreciation – a gift of a Milwaukee twin drill set.

Jenson’s story is a testament to the power of hard work and a positive attitude. Although he may have initially appeared as a quiet and unassuming individual, Jenson quickly proved himself to be a valued member of the SJ Roberts Construction team.

Alan Cound, Site Manager at SJ Roberts Construction said: “Although Jenson was employed as an apprentice carpenter, to gain some experience on-site, he began work as a labourer working alongside various sub-contractors. He was always eager to lend a hand, ready to learn from those around him and even purchased a moped to ensure he could reliably transport himself to site and college without having to depend on others. His enthusiastic approach to work did not go unnoticed, and he quickly gained respect and admiration.

“Jenson’s hard work and dedication led to him being given the opportunity to gain further experience at Lowfield Timber Frames Ltd. Again, he proved to be a valuable addition to the team, demonstrating a flexible attitude and a willingness to take on any task. While Lowfield Timber Frames considered keeping him on permanently, Jenson remained committed to his career path with SJ Roberts Construction, moving to a new site in Newtown to continue his carpentry apprenticeship at the Mais Dulais development for our client Barcud.”

Throughout all the transitions, Jenson has continued to impress with his positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn and grow as a carpenter. His dedication and perseverance have undoubtedly played a significant role in his continued development and success at SJ Roberts Construction.
